Equine Acupuncture

Equine acupuncture uses very fine sterile needles placed at selected points based on the individual horse and presenting findings. Treatment is tailored to each horse and may be used on its own or alongside remedial massage, phototherapy and thermal imaging. The aim is to support comfort, mobility, muscular function, recovery and overall wellbeing while taking the horse’s workload, history and individual needs into account.

Every Horse Is Different
Each horse is assessed individually before treatment. Acupuncture points and supporting therapies are selected according to the horse in front of me rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Where appropriate, acupuncture may be combined with remedial massage, phototherapy or thermal imaging as part of the session.
